Prowers Area Imagination Library is an organization that mails a free age appropriate book to children 0-5 years of age each month until their 5th birthday. This program is a daughter program of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library that started in 1995. We aim to excite children about books and reading with the long term goal of increasing and improving literacy across the county. We are currently providing books to children who live in Prowers County and McClave.
Through community contributions Prowers Area Imagination Library was launched in May 2015. We would like to give a big thank you to our current contributors. The following businesses, clubs and individuals have provided enough funds to support 220 children for their first 2 years of enrollment!
THANK YOU –

We are always seeking more supporters so that we can offer this opportunity to more families in our area. Imagine how wonderful it would be if every child had a love for books and reading by the time they entered Kindergarten! With the help of our community we strive to make this a reality in our area.
