National Little Britches Finals

Kallie Cathcart, Wacey Dorenkamp, and Taylor Neugebauer

Wacey Dorenkamp, Kallie Cathcart, and Taylor Neugebauer just returned from the National Little Britches Finals Rodeo in Pueblo, Colorado where they competed with cowboys and cowgirls from all 50 states.  Wacey competed in steer wrestling and team roping.  Kallie competed in barrels, poles, goats, breakaway, and dally ribbon roping.  Taylor competed in barrels and poles.

Wacey Dorenkamp – Steer-Wrestling

Wacey won 2nd in the second round and 9th in the short go in steer wrestling.  He ended up 9th in the world in steer wrestling.

Taylor Neugebauer – Barrels

Kallie won 1st in the second round and made it back to the short go in pole bending.  She ended up 10th in the world in pole bending.

Kallie Cathcart – Poles

We are proud to have Prowers County well represented by these three standout athletes.
