A Funeral Mass for Lamar resident Zeferina B. Mungaray will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday July 14, 2015 at St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Celebrating the Mass will be Rev. Stephen Olamolu. A Rite of Committal will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Zeferina was born August 26, 1961 at Sain Alto Zacatecas Mexico to Estevan and Juana (Cervantes) Barrera and passed away at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs on July 9, 2015 at the age of 53.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Mungaray is survived by her husband Jose of the family home in Lamar, her daughter Maira Mungaray of Lamar and 7 brothers and sisters. Numerous other relatives also survive.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Zeferina Mungaray Memorial Fund through the funeral home office to help offset medical expenses.
