Wacey Dorenkamp Qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo

Wacey Dorenkamp has just returned from competition in the Kansas High School Rodeo Association State Finals where he competed in the steer wrestling, team roping, .22 small bore rifle shoot, and trap shoot in Topeka, Kansas. He qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyoming where he will compete in the trap shoot during July. Competitors from 42 states, 5 Canadian provinces, and Australia will be vying for more than $200,000 worth of prizes, $350,000 worth of scholarships, and the title of NHSRA event champions. He was selected to the KHSRA Farm Credit Academic Rodeo team with a 4.0 GPA as well.
