Stacey Lea Miller…November 16, 1963 – June 6, 2015

Memorial services for Stacey Lea Miller will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Mark Cloer will be officiating.

Stacey Lea (Davis) Miller was born on November 16, 1963 in La Junta, Colorado to Lonnie and Roxanne (Sallee) Davis. She passed away on June 6, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 51.

Stacey graduated from Las Animas High School in 1982 and continued her education at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Business in 1984. She also played college basketball for the Rattlers at OJC. After graduating from OJC, Stacey transferred to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. Stacey married her husband, Kenneth Miller, on August 31, 1985. She was a Case Manager and worked at the Department of Social Services. She also served as the Secretary of the Fair Board. Stacey loved 4-H, sports, and projects with her children.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dallas Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Miller; daughters, Danielle and Kelsey Miller; parents, Lonnie and Roxanne Davis all of Las Animas, Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and a host of friends.
