Rodeo Results: Eastern Wyoming

 The LCC Rodeo team traveled to Eastern Wyoming Community College in Torrington, Wyoming, on March 27-29. 

Freshman Melanie Roman finished 2nd in the barrel racing, which helped her regain the number one position in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.  Keely Smith split 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the first round of the breakaway roping and 7th after 2 go-rounds to move into the top 20 in her event.  The women’s team is currently in 4^th place in the regional standings.

The annual Skyline Stampede, hosted by Colorado State University, is next on the rodeo schedule.  The team travels to Fort Collins on April 10.
