Funeral services for Harold Wesley Splitter will be held at1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Holly with Pastor Ralph Plummer officiating.  Visitation will be held at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly on Thursday from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00. Interment will follow in the Holly Cemetery.

Harold was born on March 4, 1933 to Wesley Simon and Ella Pauline (Williams) Splitter in Geneseo, Kansas. He passed away on January 31, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 81.

Harold married Mary Ann Schroeder on November 11, 1956 in Perryton, Texas. Shortly after their marriage, the two moved to Colorado. He was employed in various occupations until 1970 when he was employed by the Thunderbird Livestock and Land Company until retiring in 1996 to go to work on the family farm in Sheridan Lake, Colorado. Mary Ann passed away on June 4, 1997.  Harold met Karen Kaye Willis in 1999 and the two joined families on February 9, 2000.

Harold is survived by his wife, Kaye of Holly, Colorado; daughters, Beverly and husband, Gary Medlock of Lacrosse, Kansas, Linda Grayson of Columbia, Missouri, and Paula and husband, John Martin of Roger, Arkansas; sons, Steve and wife, Kelley Splitter of Orlando, Florida, Gary and wife, Lori Willis of Lander, Wyoming, Quintin and wife, Stephanie Willis of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Darren and wife, Katrina Willis of Las Animas, Colorado, and Shane and wife, Aletia Willis of Denver, Colorado; and siblings, Estella Christiansen of Jefferson City, Missouri, Eugene and wife, Judy Splitter of Sheridan Lake, Colorado, Marcella and husband, Dennis Cockroft of Holly, Colorado, Gilbert Splitter of Rohnert Park, California, Barbara and husband, Roy Stokes of Gering, Nebraska, and Dorothy and husband, Bill Frey of Holly, Colorado. Harold is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host and friends.

Harold is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann; parents, Wesley and Pauline Splitter; and brother-in-law, Calvin Christiansen.
