Spring Semester Quickly Approaching at LCC

There may still be snow on the ground, but at LCC it’s all about spring.  Spring Semester is quickly approaching with most classes starting January 12.  Registration is still open for all spring courses, both online and on campus.  Those interested in registering for classes are encouraged to call 719.336.1590 as soon as possible to set up a meeting with the admissions counselor or their advisor.

The beginning of the semester is always a busy time, and this year is no exception.  The Todd-Burch Residence Halls will open to students onJanuary 8 at 12:00pm with New Student Orientation following on January 9.  All new students must attend the orientation and can register for the day at www.lamarcc.edu.  During the first week of classes, students will enjoy a free welcome back breakfast, s’mores at the dorm, and a bowling night.

Lopes Basketball also returns with a home game on Tuesday, January 13.  The community is encouraged to come support the Runnin’ Lopes as they take on the Otero Junior College Rattlers.  Women’s Basketball starts the night off at 5:30 in the Wellness Center.  Let’s go Lopes!
