Lamar Community College has expanded its online course offerings for Spring 2015 in partnership with the Colorado Community College System and CCCOnline. In addition to the regular fifteen and ten week online spring offerings, CCCOnline will offer several courses in a new six week format. These additional offerings will provide students with even more flexibility as they plan for their spring courses.
CCCOnline will offer the following courses in two six week formats: Art Appreciation (ART 110), Introduction to Business (BUS 115), Public Speaking (COM 115), Interpersonal Communication (COM 125), English Composition I (ENG 121), English Composition II (ENG 122), US History to Reconstruction (HIS 121), Colorado History (HIS 225), Human Nutrition (HWE 110), Career Math (MAT 107), Intro to Philosophy (PHI 111), General Psychology I (PSY 101), Human Growth & Development (PSY 235), and Intro to Sociology I (SOC 101).
The first six week session starts February 9 and ends March 21. The second six week session begins March 30 and ends May 9. Students can choose which courses and which session best fits their needs. While these courses have later start dates, students typically need to be enrolled in the class earlier. The last day to add CCCOnline Session #1 courses is January 8, while the last day to add courses for Session #2 is March 3. Those interested in taking these courses can find them in LCC’s spring schedule and should enroll as soon as possible.
