Florence R. Bourne…August 7, 1925 – November 30, 2014

Funeral services for longtime Las Animas, Colorado resident, Florence Bourne will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, Colorado.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Florence Ruth (Voss) Bourne was born in Las Animas, Colorado on August 7, 1925 to Charles E. and Imodell (Woodward) Voss.  She passed away November 30, 2014 at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado at the age of 89.

Florence was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club and Red Hat Society.  She also enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Moore of Limon, CO, Charles Bourne and wife, Sylvia of Pueblo, CO, Larry Bourne and Linda Dickerson of Las Animas, CO; sister, Rosalie A. Yett and husband, Jim of Fowler, CO; granddaughter, Jessica Collett and husband, Charles of Evanston, IL; brother-in-law, Ray Bourne and wife Jetta of Phoenix, AZ; sisters-in-law, Zola Six and Cleva Bourne of Las Animas, CO;  several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Bourne on July 10, 2014; and one sister, Esther E. Keichler in 1995.
