Alydia R. Headding…October 26, 1925 – December 29, 2014

A private family memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Alydia R. Headding will be held at a later date.  

Per Alydia’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.  

Alydia was born on October 26, 1925 at Chadron, Nebraska to Elmer G. and Lillie M. (Hanke) Griffith and passed away on December 29, 2014 at the Lamar Estates at the age of 89 with her family by her side.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. 

Alydia is survived by her children; Dorothy (Buddy) Davis of Boise City, OK, Donald (Lynn) Bauersachs and Frankie (Bob) McCaslin all of Lamar and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Ida Simmons of Chadron, NE, Jean Carnett of Casper, WY, a brother; Elmer Griffith of Casper, WY as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.  

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
