Memorial services for Syracuse, KS resident, Tyler L. Brummett will be held at 10:30 a.m. MST on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Syracuse Wesleyan Church in Syracuse, KS. Pastor James Helton will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Tyler Lindsey Brummett was born December 20, 1980 in Garden City, Kansas to Vernon K. Brummett and Clarissa Gay Thompson. He passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2014 in Syracuse, Kansas at the age of 33.
Tyler was a former Lineman for J&J Power of Ulysses and currently an irrigation farmer for EZ Farms/Frontier Dairy. He attended Syracuse Wesleyan Church. Tyler was a member of AA, and was an avid runner. He was a “Mr. Fix It” and enjoyed doing anything outdoors. His greatest love was for his children. He was known for his unforgettable smile.
Tyler is survived by his children, Kolbey, Ian, Jaxon, and Allie; mother of his children, Connie Brummett; mother, Gay Thompson of Syracuse, KS; father, Bub Brummett of Johnson, KS; sisters, Crystal, Dami, and Christy; brothers, Jason, Travis, and “Little Tyler”; many other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Lois Thompson, Vernon and Flossie Brummett; and an uncle, Nate.
