A celebration of life memorial service for Middle Brook, MO resident, Jamie K. Sykes will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday November 22, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar.
Jamie K. Sykes was born on September 3, 1959 in Hugo, CO to James D. and Nancy (Potter) Elliston and departed this life on Tuesday October 7, 2014 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO at the age of 55.
Jamie was preceded in death by her mother; by two brothers – Pat Elliston and Dave Elliston; as well as by her father-in-law – Carl Sykes, Jr.
Jamie is survived by her husband – Allan Sykes of the family home in Middle Brook, MO; by three children – Ryan (Nina) Sykes of Thonton, CO; Cody Sykes of Middle Brook, MO; and Sam (Jen) Sykes of Vallejo, CA; by eight grandchildren; and by four brothers – Jerry Elliston of Tonopah, NV; Gary (Cheryl) Elliston of Phoenix, AZ; Tim (Michele) Elliston also of Phoenix, AZ; and Dan Elliston of Delores, CO. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memories and letters may be sent to the family either directly or through the funeral home office.
