A Rosary service for longtime Granada resident, Mary L. Reyes will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Allen Medina reciting. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 23, 2014 with Reverend Charlie Sena as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Granada.
Visitation for Mary will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Mary was born on September 14, 1942 at Delta, Colorado, to Anastacio and Inez (Terrazas) De La Rosa and passed away on June 19, 2014 at her home in Lamar at the age of 71 with her family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy Michael De La Rosa, Joe Lee De La Rosa, and Anthony Paul De La Rosa.
Mary is survived by her husband Pascual Reyes of the family home in Lamar, siblings Lupe De La Rosa of Aurora, CO, Albina (Mario) Madrid of Lamar, CO, Teresa Valenzuela of Granada, Ernest (Wanda) De La Rosa of Holcomb, KS, Ruben (Barbara) De La Rosa of Granada, Frances Ortiz of Lakewood, CO, Helen (Ramon) Mendoza of Granada, James (Maria) De La Rosa of Denver, CO, Victoria (Jorge) Mendoza of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Edward De La Rosa of Arizona, and Gloria (Jesus) Munoz of Lamar, CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
