Share The Spirit Foundation Founder Honored In Illinois

Springfield, Illinois: Tonya Voepel, co-founder with Karen Voepel of Lamar, Colorado of Share the Spirit Foundation (STS) will be honored as one of the Top Five “Women of Influence” by Security Bank in Springfield, Illinois and the Illinois Business Journal. Tonya’s accomplishments in Illinois and throughout the United States will be noted as well as being a long-time business owner of Voepel Publication Services, Inc. of Springfield, IL. Tonya is one of the founders of STS with sister-in-law Karen Voepel, of Lamar, Colorado. Both women, through Share the Spirit Foundation, have organized fundraisers and helped children in Illinois and Colorado, as well as many other states throughout the nation, with shoes, socks, books and family essentials. STS was established in 2003 with the simple motto: “Helping to share the burden of those in need.” Tonya will be celebrating the “Women of Influence” award at a ceremony with four other local Illinois women for their contributions to the area on May 13, 2014 in Springfield, Illinois.
