Lawrence Albert Pettinger…June 14, 1927 – May 9, 2014

Graveside services for Lawrence Pettinger will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holly Cemetery in Holly, Colorado. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly.

Lawrence Albert Pettinger was born on June 14, 1927, south of Holly, Colorado to Nicholas and Bessie Pettinger. He passed away at the Holly Nursing Care Center on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the age of 86.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Mollie “Blondie” Pettinger of Coolidge, Kansas; children, Clarence Pettinger of Aurora, Colorado, Karen and husband, Cedric Billings of Littleton, Colorado, Marvin and wife, Christine Pettinger of Thorton, Colorado, Michael Pettinger of Wheatridge, Colorado, and Sharon Pettinger of Syracuse, Kansas; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Lawrence is also survived by many other relatives and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Lawrence Albert Pettinger, Jr.
