PMC Cancels Board Elections

Because there were not more candidates for board of director positions than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates, the election for Prowers Medical Center board of directors has been cancelled. The election for four members had been originally scheduled for May 6.
Designated Election Official, Audrey Kane, sent an announcement stating that the four candidates had been officially declared elected: Julie Branes for a two year term, P. Kevin McGrath for a four year term, Matthew D. Snyder for a four year term and Constance L. Brase, also for a four year term. Branes and McGrath ran for re-election. Candy Ruedeman and Marjorie Campbell, whose terms on the board of directors were expiring, did not run for re-election. Persons wishing to be a write-in candidate had until March 3 to submit their name for election.
