Letter to the Editor: Coen Announces for Re-election

To: The Citizens of Prowers County,

I would like to announce my candidacy for re-election to the office of Prowers County Clerk. I have had the pleasure of serving you in that capacity for the past 5 years. I am a registered Republican; however the Oath of Office for the County Clerk demands that ALL citizens be treated equal. I can assure you that I have and will continue to do that.

My husband, Monty Coen, and I make our home here in Lamar. We have two daughters, Lexi and Laci ages 16 and 13. Monty is a 4th generation farmer on our family farm and he is also a Financial Advisor for a local company, Core Financial. We truly appreciated the lifestyle that we have in rural Colorado with our children.

I have 24 years of experience in the County Clerk’s Office and I pledge to you that I will continue to do the job required in the most efficient and economic manner possible.

You, the citizens of Prowers County, have placed a great deal of trust in my abilities and I would appreciate your support by re-electing me to a four (4) year term this coming November. I will continue to serve this community to the best of my abilities.
