Gilbert L. Neugebauer…March 7, 1933 – October 16, 2013

                Graveside services for Bristol, Colorado resident, Gilbert Neugebauer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Bristol, Colorado.  Rev. Eugene Birt will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado.

                Gilbert Leroy Neugebauer was born March 7, 1933 in Holly, Colorado to Henry “Hank” and Neva (Bledsoe) Neugebauer.  He passed away on October 16, 2013 at his home at the age of 80.

                Gilbert was united in marriage to Wilma Jean Dickson.  To this union they had two sons and a daughter.  Mr. Neugebauer worked as a farmer, construction worker and was a shop foreman and mechanic for Ryder Commercial Carriers before retiring in 1995.

                Gilbert is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean of the home; son, Larry Neugebauer and wife, Kim of Dumas, TX; daughter, Cathy Lacey of Woodland, WA; brothers, Merle Neugebauer and wife, Desiree of Holly, CO, Earl Neugebauer and wife, Maxine of Holly, CO, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Smith of Bristol, CO and Betty Neugebauer of Wichita, KS. and Kenneth Neugebauer of Lamar, CO; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

                He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Edna Mae Neugebauer; sister, Linda Parker; brother, Gale Neugebauer; and son, Donnie Ray Neugebauer.
