City of Lamar August Sales Tax Revenue Report

Although City of Lamar sales tax revenue for August was off 1.52% for a loss of $3,870.60 compared to last year, the combination of Use Tax and other categories showed a year to date increase of 3.27% for a gain of $83,251.77 over last year.   

Sales Tax revenues since January 2013 are at $2,632,699.44 compared to this time last year of $2,549,447.67.  Use tax and Other categories year to date are up $34,405 over last year which is included in the overall year to date gain for the city. 

Eight of the 12 Retail Sales Tax categories for Sales and Use Tax Collections since January 2013 show a dollar drop compared to last year at this time.
