Delores Rodriguez…May 18, 1949 – July 13, 2013

            A Mass of Christian Burial for lifelong Granada resident, Delores Rodriguez will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Charles Sena as celebrant. A Rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM at the church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Granada, CO.           

            Per Delores’ request there will be no visitation.  

            Delores was born on May 18, 1949 at Lamar, Colorado to Raymond Elmer and Mary Pauline (Lenox) Nelson and passed away on July 13, 2013 at Prowers Medical Center at the age of 64.  

            She is preceded in death by her husband; Ruben Rodriguez, sons; Anthony and Andrew Rodriguez, her parents, and her brother; Charles “Chuck” Nelson. 

            Delores is survived by her brothers; Ray (Lena) Nelson of Lamar, David Nelson of Broomfield, CO, sisters; Ruby (Marvin) Wright of Limon, CO and Mary Lynn (Mike) Franco of Erie, CO. She is also survived by her niece, nephews, other family and a host of friends. 

            Memorial Contributions may be made to the Bristol/Granada Fire Department either direct or in care of the funeral home office.   Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
