Chamber Visits New Pastor Jerry Ellis

Lamar, CO – July 5, 2013 – The Lamar Honkers recently visited Pastor Jerry Ellis of the First Southern Baptist Church at 706 West Pearl Street in Lamar.

Pastor Ellis had served his congregation at the Springfield Baptist Chapel for the past four and half years in Springfield before taking on the pastor position at the First Southern Baptist Church in Lamar on March 19th, 2013. He and his wife Debbie were living in Two Buttes and recently moved to Lamar.

Church Service on Sunday begins at 11am and is preceded by Sunday school at 9:45am. Wednesday Night service is held at 7pm. For more information, contact the church at 719-688-4909. Everyone is Welcome!
