            Graveside Services for Cathy Sue Renner will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Holly Cemetery in Holly, CO.  Services will be led by Deacon Medina.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly. 

             Cathy Sue Wagner-Renner, 56, passed away July 13, 2013 at home in Fort Collins, CO after a courageous, lengthy battle with cancer.  She was born February 16, 1957 in Lamar, CO.  She grew up in Coolidge, KS.  In 1994, Sue earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the College of Business at Colorado State University.  She started her career at CSU with the Alumni Foundation, transferring to the College of Applied Human Sciences, Manufacturing Technology Construction Management.  Sue served as the Financial Officer of Construction Management, also playing a key leadership role as Office Manager.  She was instrumental in the coordination of various Construction Management events.  Retiring in 2009 with 28 years of dedicated service, she continued to serve as Coordinator of the Rocky Mountain Asphalt Conference and Equipment Show and Operations Manager for the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC), additional roles she had assumed during her years at CSU. Sue knew how to work hard and play hard. Compassion and care giving came easy to Sue, taking care of her family and friends were second nature to her. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, and traveling, especially to her and Ron’s second home in Florida. 

            Sue is survived by her husband, Ronald Renner; step son, Barry Renner and wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Zach, Alex, and Elise; brothers, Eugene and Robert Wagner of Coolidge, KS; sister, Joyce DeBuysere and husband, Mike; niece, April; nephew, Scott; many other relatives and a host of friends. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Bernard Wagner and brother, Kenneth Wagner. 

            Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice, Community Care for Northern Colorado in care of Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 950, Lamar, CO 81052.
