A Celebration of Life for longtime Two Buttes resident, Ada P. Haddock will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Lamar Christian Church with Gary Pruett and Jason Haddock co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation for Ada will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 2:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.           

Ada was born on October 3, 1914 at Sublette, Kansas to Greenberry Washington and Elsie May (Hall) Marteney and passed away on July 7, 2013 at her home in Two Buttes with her family by her side at the age of 98. 

She is preceded in death by her husband; Randal Haddock, two grandchildren; Lisa (Haddock) Fish and Ronald Haddock, great-grandson; Logan Will, her parents and siblings; Clifford Marteney, Loyd Marteney, Wayne Marteney, Loretta Lowery, Hazel Griffen, Edna Larson, Thelma Davies, Verla Welsh and Ruth Hess. 

Ada is survived by her children; Ray (Carolyn) Haddock of Stanton, NE, Ivan (Paula) Haddock of Omaha, NE, Neal Haddock of Ulysses, KS, Alvin (Bessie) Haddock of Bayfield, CO, Oma McKitrick of Thorton, CO, Laroy (Rose) Haddock of Two Buttes, Rebecca (Gary) Prewette of Ft. Collins, CO, Fred (Doris) Haddock of Pueblo, CO, Delmar (Lisa) Haddock of Julian, CA and Kenny Haddock of Two Buttes, thirty five grandchildren, seventy-four great grandchildren and twenty seven great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends also survive.  

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cal Farley Boys Ranch and/or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation either direct or in care of the funeral home office.  Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
