Valentin Rodrigues-Nuñez was born February 14, 1940 to Roberto and Jovita (Nuñez) Rodrigues. He passed away at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs on April 30, 2013 at the age of 73.
Visitation will be Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5 from 1pm to 5pm at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly. Rosary will be conducted May 6 from 9:30am to 10am at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Holly. A Mass of Christian burial will follow from 10 to 11am. Internment will follow at Holly Cemetery.
Valentin is survived by his wife, Victoria Rodriguez; four daughters, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Leticia Rodriguez, Dolores Rodriguez, and Yolanda Rodriguez; two sons, Valentin Rodriguez and Alfredo Rodriguez; sisters, Manuela Rodriguez, Ramona Rodriguez, Josefa Rodriguez, and Teresa Rodriguez; brothers, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Raphael Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, and Juana Rodriguez; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fancisco Rodriguez and Bucho Rodriguez; sister, Maria Rodriguez; father-in-law, Simon Licon; and brother-in-law, Meli Licon.
