Rita White…August 2, 1949 – April 18, 2013

Memorial services for Lamar, CO resident, Rita L. White will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar, CO.  Inurnment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.  Rev. Kathy Leathers will officiate.

Rita Lynette (Batdorf) White was born August 2, 1949 to Benton and Thelma (Moore) Batdorf in La Junta, Colorado.  She passed away April 18, 2013 at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo.

Rita is survived by sons, Robert Tulley and wife, Valerie of Monte Vista, CO, Robin White of Baton Rouge, LA; four siblings, Richard Batdorf  and wife, Carol of Lakewood, CO, Regie Batdorf and wife, Denise of Lakewood, CO, Roxann Crowford of Lamar, CO, Robbie Batdorf of Lamar; grandchildren, Matthew and Meeyah Tulley; nieces and nephews, Dawn, Ronda, Rich II, Corbin, Melanie, Nichole, Dominique, Schuyler, Samantha, and Brandon; special friend, Audrey McGregor; many other relatives and a host of friends.

 She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Bernice Batdorf , Claude and Ruth Moore; and her parents, Benton Batdorf and Thelma Watkins.
