Over 350 Broncos fans attended the Mile High Salute to Fans Tour, presented by U.S. Bank, this past Thursday morning, April 4. Fans lined up outside the Lamar Chamber of Commerce office to meet and greet some players, cheerleaders and “Miles”, the Broncos Mascot. On hand for today’s event were: Broncos David Bruton and Kevin Vickerson. They were escorted by cheerleaders Christina and Katie – and of course Miles, the Mascot!
What should have been only an hour event was extended by a half hour to accommodate all the fans who turned out for autographs and pictures.
The 2013 tour will include stops in 20 different Colorado cities and will be free and open to the public.
“We are very excited to bring the Mile High Salute to Fans Tour to each of the 20 cities next month,” Broncos Senior Vice President of Business Development Mac Freeman said. “The tour will allow us to get out and thank fans throughout Broncos Country for their on-going support. Spending time in the communities that support us so passionately is extremely important to everyone in the Broncos organization.”
The tour began in Boulder on Monday and will end in Glenwood Springs on Saturday, April 6. Players scheduled to appear on the tour include safety David Bruton, defensive end Malik Jackson, defensive tackle Mitch Unrein and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson.
