Enrique Corral Chaidez…April 10, 1923 – March 18, 2013

A Mass of Christian Burial for longtime Lamar resident, Enrique Corral Chaidez, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday March 22, 2013 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar. 

A rosary for Enrique will be held at 9:30 AM Friday March 22, 2013 also at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church led by Maria Elena Gomez.

 Visitation for Mr. Corral will be held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Thursday March 21, 2013 at the Peacock Family Chapel and prior to the rosary at the church on Friday. 

Enrique Corral Chaidez was born on April 10, 1923 in Sauces Tepehuanes, Durango, Mexico to Anastacio and Candelaria (Chaidez) Corral and departed this life on March 18, 2013 at Prowers Medical Center at the age of 89. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Angel Corral, father and mother-in-law; Demecio and Feliciana Banuelos and niece and nephew; Rita and James Lucero. 

Enrique is survived by his wife of 56 years; Teresa Corral of the family home in Lamar, nieces; Virginia Velaquez, Gloria Kors, Cecilia Grey, Angela Chairez, Barbara Taylor; along with several other relatives to include Yvonne; Eric Ortega; and Reggie Ortega.
