Bob J. Cook…August 7, 1946 – February 5, 2013

A Funeral Service for longtime Granada resident, Bob Cook will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Rev. Kathy Leathers of the Granada United Methodist Church officiating. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM the funeral home. 

Per Bob’s request, cremation will follow the chapel service and there will be a Memorial Service at the Granada United Methodist Church at a later date with interment of the ashes at the Hillside Cemetery in Granada. 

Mr. Cook was born on August 7, 1946 at Las Animas, CO to Ralph W. and Harriet Bernice (Corf) Cook and passed away at Swedish Hospital in Denver on February 5, 2013 at the age of 66. 

Bob is preceded in death by his son Darrell Lee Cook on May 30, 1992, parents and two brothers Ralph Cook, Jr. and Samuel W. Cook.

 He is survived by his wife Connie of the family home in Granada, daughter; Crystal Cook and his grandchildren; Cennan J. Cook and Caedden J. Cook all of Granada. Bob is also survived by his siblings; Paul (Ramona) Cook of Crawford, CO, Roy Cook of Leoti, KS, Shirley Breickler of Ft. Lupton, CO, Viola (Don) Garnett of Fouke, Ark and Vickie (Gene) Shull of Roswell, NM as well as other relatives and many friends.
