Artemio “Mike” Hernandez, Jr…February 3, 1964 – January 30, 2013

A Mass of Christian burial for Odessa, Texas resident and former Wiley resident, Artemio “Mike” Hernandez, Jr. will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday February 6, 2013 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar.  Father Henry Aguwa will be the celebrant.  A rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday February 5, 2013 also at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Visitation for Mike will be held prior to the Rosary and Mass at the Church.

Artemio “Mike” Hernandez Jr., age 48, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Odessa, TX.  He was born February 3, 1964 in Lamar CO; to Artemio and Pauline (Lucero) Hernandez Sr.

Artemio love the high life, hanging out with friends and family and classic rock music. He was a diehard Denver Bronco fan. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father: Artemio Hernandez Sr. of Kermit, TX; two brothers: Dave Reza of Pueblo, CO and Marcelino Hernandez of Lamar CO.; three sisters: Maria Elena Chavez of Kermit, TX; Herlinda Anaya and husband Rene of MX and Martha Muniz and husband Ramon of Kermit, TX; one brother-in-law: Joe Ramos of Holly, CO. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Pauline Hernandez and his sister: Rachel Ramos.
