Prowers County Political Parties Hold Election Night Open House

The Democrat and Republican political parties in Prowers County are holding election night open houses for the public at large.

The Republicans will host a pot-luck gathering at the fairgrounds 4-H building beginning at 6pm on Tuesday, November 6. Table service and drinks will be provided as local members of the GOP watch the state and national returns on widescreen satellite television.

The Prowers County Democrats and commissioner candidates will host their evening’s coverage of local, state and national returns at the Cow Palace Inn courtyard beginning at 7pm once local polling precincts have closed. Refreshments will also be provided. The Prowers County Democratic party is also hosting an election rally, from 1pm to 3pm at their headquarters at 1209 South Main Street in Lamar. Bring a lawnchair to the outdoor event. Pizza and beverages will be provided and music will be by “Jerry’s Kids”.
