Prowers Journal Hosting Candidate Forum October 15th

The Prowers Journal is sponsoring a forum for candidates for Prowers County Commissioner, Monday, October 15, from 6pm to 8pm, hosted by Rodeway Cow Palace Inn. This may be the final local campaign forum held for the County Commissioner’s race and an opportunity for you to receive information that will help you decide your vote in the November General Election.

District 3 Candidates Jillane Hixson and Wendy Buxton-Andrade

District 1 candidates are incumbent Henry Schnabel and challenger, Donald Seufer. District 3 candidates are Jillane Hixson and Wendy Buxton-Andrade. Mail in ballots will be issued to voters as of October 15. Early balloting will be conducted at the Lamar Senior Center on East Olive Street between October 22 and November 2.

Members of the audience may ask questions of the candidates during the forum, or questions for the candidates may also be emailed to The Prowers Journal at reportertpj@gmail.com. Time limitations may restrict the number of questions that can be submitted and duplicate questions will be screened.
