Lamar Hosts 50+ Reunion this Weekend

Lamar Union High School graduates who have been out of school over 50 years or more are returning to Lamar for the Homecoming and will attend a reunion at the Rodeway Cow Palace Inn, September 21-23.
There will be more than 300 people in Lamar, participating in the reunion for those from the Class of 1934 through 1961. Class members will attend the Friday afternoon, downtown parade, the Tail-gate party at Savage Stadium and the following football game.
Tours of John Martin Dam and the Big Timbers Museum will be conducted. A banquet/dance on Saturday, September 22 will be the evening entertainment. The reunion will conclude Sunday morning with an early morning breakfast.
The Lamar High, Savage Spirit still lives.
