Warren Camp and Chris Currell have been in business as Camp & Currell Construction, LLC since July 22, 1982 as general partners in a general contracting construction company. Each partner is responsible for the bidding, management and completion of his own project and also when combining the crew for large projects. Our crew has been together for many years, the most recent employee has been with the company over five years and the longest employee has been with the company since 1995.

Camp & Currell is a multi-faceted licensed, insured and bonded construction company involved in residential and commercial construction; from the excavation to the project’s final finish. We build custom homes, steel buildings, do concrete work in the form of parking lots, both commercial and industrial, foundations, curb and gutter, drainage and irrigation projects and stamped concrete sidewalks and patios. We offer a wide range of concrete cutting and core drilling. We handle remodels of commercial and residential properties and also install single ply rubber roofing.

We have completed franchise and corporate construction and remodels for Bressler Ice Cream, Dairy Queen, Taco Johns, Quiznos, Subway and Burger King. We have recently been under contract with our local city government for the Lamar Public Library, the City of Lamar Softball/Baseball 4-Plex and the Lamar Swimming Pool, the Lamar School District RE-2 for the concrete work on the grade school expansions and the stadium field house construction, the State of Colorado-Port of Entry and Division of Wildlife, Lamar Light and Power, Lamar’s Prowers Medical Center and High Plains Clinic, Wal-Mart, Dragon Enterprises, Caterpillar Corporation and the Pueblo Chemical Depot. We have been involved in the remodel and construction of numerous banks in southeast Colorado, most recently the construction of the Community State Bank in Lamar and are currently renovating the 122 year old Lamar Hotel into the new Lamar Area Hospice Facility.
