A Memorial Service for longtime Lamar resident Stella M. Boxley will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Mrs. Boxley was born on November 4, 1924 at Chetopa, Kansas to Harry and Shara (Witez) Blundell and passed away at the Bent County Memorial Nursing Home on July 24, 2012 at the age of 88.
Stella is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her three sons; James (Stef) Boxley of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Harold (Thia) Boxley of Pueblo West, CO and Clifford Boxley of Lamar. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
