Curtis Rushton…April 11, 1956 – June 12, 2012

Funeral services for longtime Holly, Colorado resident, Curtis Dell Rushton, 56, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Coolidge Gymnasium in Coolidge, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery. Mr. Kevin May will officiate.

Visitation will be at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 1:00 P. M. to 5:00 P.M.

Curtis Dell Rushton was born in Lamar, Colorado on April 11, 1956 to Melvin and Marie (James) Rushton. Curt passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a great man, great friend, and great father. He was a man who walked his own walk. He was a true original who lived life every step of the way, and was someone you could tip your hat to. Curt will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Meisha Rushton.

Curt is survived by two daughters, Natausha and Calie Rushton; three sisters, Taniska Eddy, Crystal Clymer, and Melissa Swopes; nieces and nephews, Tylor, Kennedy, Colby, Claire, and Cambrie Swopes all of Holly, Colorado.
