CU Regent Candidate Withdraws from Election

MEDIA RELEASE-FROM THE PROWERS COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE
If you applied for an Absentee Ballot or you are registered as a Permanent Mail-In Voter (PMIV), you should have received a ballot by mail after June 4, 2012. Absentee and PMIV’s are the only voters that will automatically receive their ballots by mail for this Primary Election. Please make sure when returning your ballot by mail, that you have enough postage on it. The appropriate amount of posted needed when returning your ballot by mail to our office is, $ .45 (cents). Once again, please have the correct amount of postage.
As you may not be aware, Brian X. Scott, who was the candidate for CU Regent At-Large, on the American Constitution Party’s ballot has withdrawn his candidacy. Although Mr. Scott has withdrawn, he will be listed on the ballot as certified and results for Brian X. Scott will not be tallied.
Early Voting has started at the Lamar Community and Resource Center, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 18-22, 2012.
