Virginia “Ginger” Alba…October 12, 1923 – April 2, 2012

            A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Virginia “Ginger” Alba will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Deacon Henry Wertin officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery.  

            Visitation for Ginger will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at the Peacock Family Chapel. 

            Ginger was born on October 12, 1923 at Lexington, Nebraska to George and Annie (Sebrant) Alba and passed away on April 2, 2012 at the age of 88. 

            She is survived by her nephew; Lupe (Julie) Adame of Lamar as well as many friends and numerous other family including; RoseAnn and Robert Yates of Lamar. 

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
