The Southeast Colorado Arts Council will host their annual Art Show and Membership Drive on Thursday, July 26, 2012. The summer art show, entitled, “Hotter than Hell”, will have Jeremy Manyik as their featured artist. Manyik, who resides in La Junta, is an accomplished oil and acrylic painter.
The four-day “Hotter than Hell” art show will begin with a 6pm wine and cheese artists reception at the Shore Arts Center on South Main Street in Lamar on the 26th. The show will conclude Sunday, July 29th at 6pm. All area artists are invited to show and offer their work for sale free of any fees. A maximum of three pieces of artwork will be allowed per artist. Twenty per cent of the proceeds from any sales will be used by Southeast Colorado Arts Council to defray expenses and to support the Shore Arts Center.
The Arkansas Valley of Southeastern Colorado is rich with talented artists and programs. Your continued support will allow us to continue to work and support local artists as well as those from outside the region and beyond.
