A graveside Memorial Service for longtime Lamar resident, Rosella M. Hendrickson will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Fairmount Cemetery with L.D. Nelson officiating. Per Mrs. Hendrickson’s request there will be no public viewing and cremation will take place.
Rosella, affectionately known by many at Roz was born on September 29, 1927 at Bristow, Oklahoma to William D. and Mae Duncan (Harwick) Ralston and passed away at Prowers Medical Center on April 26, 2012 at the age of 84.
Roz is preceded in death by her parents, son Melvin E. Hendrickson, brothers; Wilbur Ralston and Grover Ralston and her sister Thelma Pittman.
She is survived by her children; Richard L. (Vera) Hendrickson, H. Dean Hendrickson and Sheila (Larry) McTaggart all of Lamar. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Nikki (Kurt) Hirschler, Royce (Rae) Heck, Marla (Todd) Fierro, Billi Warren, Scott (Jessica) McTaggart and Sean (Amy) McTaggart, Eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren as well as many friends.
