Berniece M. Pollart…October 2, 1913 – April 23, 2012

A Funeral Liturgy for longtime Holly resident, Berniece M. Pollart, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 27, 2012 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Holly with Deacon Henry Wertin. A rosary service will be held prior to the Mass at 9:30 AM also at the church with Deacon Henry Wertin reciting. A Rite of Committal will be held at the Holly Cemetery.   Per Berniece’s request there will be no public visitation.

            Berniece was born on October 2, 1913 at Syracuse, Kansas to Charlie and Lona (Henry) Austin and passed away on April 23, 2012 at Prowers Medical Center at the age of 98.

            She is preceded in death by her husband; Richard H. Pollart, her parents, sons; Richard Pollart, Jr., Donald Pollart, William “Bill” Pollart and granddaughters; Tamara Stanton and Jolynn Grieser.

            Berneice is survived by her daughters; Wanda (Jack) Watson of Holly, CO, Sandra (Jerry) Jones of Johnson, KS, son; Dave (Betty) Pollart of Holly, CO. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family and friends.

            Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.   Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
