Voices of Southeast Colorado Hosting Candidates Night

Six candidates are running for two seats on the Prowers Medical Center Board of Directors. A mail-in ballot election will be held May 8. Voices of Southeast Colorado will host a candidate’s forum at the Lamar Cultural Events Center, Tuesday, April 17 from 7pm to 9pm.
The candidates have been invited to discuss their credentials and rationale for seeking to be elected to the Prowers Medical Center Board of Directors. The public will be given an opportunity to ask questions.
The candidates are: Andrew Wyatt, Julie Branes, Ronny Farmer, Vincent Yoder, Wayne Hudson and Diane Broyles. Gene Cruikshank and Joe Spitz, current board members, are not running for re-election. Board Chairman, Jan Hall and board members Marge Campbell and Candy Ruedeman will not be up for re-election until their terms expire in 2014.
