William J. Warren, Sr…September 2, 1948 – February 15, 2012

     Funeral services for former Lamar area resident and current Canon City, CO. resident William J. Warren, Sr. will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday February 21, 2012 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar, CO. Pastor Jay Rice will officiate and burial will follow in the McClave Cemetery, McClave, CO.

    Mr. Warren was born September 2, 1948 at Lamar, CO. the son of Loren E. Warren and Naomi Merritt-Warren. He departed this life on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, CO. at the age of 63.

    Bill was preceded in death by his father Loren E. Warren of Denver, CO. on March 27, 1980 and by his mother Naomi M. Warren-Hester of Lander, WY. on August 2, 2000.

      Mr. Warren is survived by five children JoDene Stokley of Pueblo, CO., Steve (Catrina Tixier) Warren of Lamar, CO., Kim (Gerald) Simpson of Pueblo, CO., Mike (Heather) Warren of Pueblo, CO., and William (Erika) Warren, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO.; by 16 grandchildren; great grandchildren; by three brothers Frank (Janie) Bowen of N. Carolina, and Dave (Nancy) Warren of Springfield, MO.; and Lynn Warren of Hazelgreen, AL. and by one sister, Lynnette Morlan of Canon City, CO.; also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
