Mary Elizabeth Sullivan…September 19, 1926 – February 11, 2012

A Memorial Service for longtime Lamar resident, Mary E. Sullivan will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ray Matteson of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.  Per Mrs. Sullivan’s request, cremation has taken place. 

Mary was born on September 19, 1926 at Geary, Oklahoma to Jack and Regina (Nicolai) Weygandt. She passed away following a brief illness at her home in Lamar on February 11, 2012 at the age of 85. 

She is preceded in death by her brother parents, her son Larry Allen and a brother Bob Weygandt. 

Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law Virginia “Ginger” Allen of Lamar, grandchildren; MeLissa Allen-Rocco of Colorado Springs, CO, Christopher (Nicole) Allen of Lamar, Douglas (Lea Pace) Allen of Pueblo. She is also survived by her 5 great-grandchildren and sisters; Dorothy Franz of Liberal, KS and Joan Forney of Greenfield, OK. Other family and friends also survive.
