2012 Election information: This year will be a Polling Place Election: 

PROWERS COUNTY HAS AGAIN COMBINED THE FOLLOWING PRECINCTS FOR THE PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS FOR 2012, PER C.R.S. 1-5-102 (4). 

Polling Site: LCC Wellness Center, 2401 S Main, Lamar, Colorado   81052 

Precincts: 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12  

Polling Site: Holly Senior and Community Center, 129 N. Main, Holly, Colorado 8l047

Precincts:  2 and 13 

Polling Site:Granada Community Complex, 105 S Main, Granada, Co  81041

Precinct:  3 

Polling Site:  Wiley Community Complex,  209 Pheasant Run, Wiley Co  81092

Precinct:  7 

Please pay close attention to the following 2012 election dates so you will be able to participate with the party of your choice! 

2012 Primary Election will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2012 (not in August) and the Presidential General Election, Tuesday, November 6, 2012.  

If you know you are registered to vote but did not receive a mail ballot for the November 2011 election, you may be inactive.  Please keep your voter registration record up to date.  If you have a question about your registration status, please contact the Prowers County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 336-8011 or you can update your information online at www.govotecolorado.com.  

MAIL-IN aka (Absentee Ballots) and Permanent Mail-In Voter (PMIV):

Do you like receiving your ballot in the mail and voting at your leisure?  Would you like to be placed on a permanent mail-in (aka absentee) ballot list?  If your answer is yes, just come into our office, or contact us.  A mail-in form can be mailed to you to fill out allowing you to be placed on the permanent mail-in list.  You will receive your ballot by mail for all future elections that you are eligible to vote in.  However, if you fail to vote, move, or your ballot is returned to our office, then you will be removed from the permanent list and it will be necessary to reapply.
