A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Wiley, Colorado resident, Jack N. Rydberg will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday December 14, 2011 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Reverend T.L. Phillips of the Wiley/McClave United Methodist Church will officiate the service. A private family scattering of cremains will take place at a later date.
Per Jack’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.
Jack was born on August 9, 1923 at Morley, Colorado to Charles and Cora (Bragg) Rydberg and passed away on December 6, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 88.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Virginia Fuller and a brother; Charles Rydberg.
Jack is survived by his children; Judy (Jim) Reyher, J.J. (Julie) Rydberg, Jan (Randy) Lawson, Jody (Lynn) Sniff, step-children; Kathi (Steve) Cramer, David (Paula) Surian, and John (Kim) Markley, grandchildren; Nathan and Brevan Reyher, Tina (Bret) Edenfield, Jamie Rydberg, Tuffy Lawson, Ryan (Kristen) Lawson, Cameron Banks, Katie (Jake) Smith, and Amy (Bryce) Otsuka, step-grandchildren; Rebecca (Clint) Berrington, Cassandra Surian, Danny Cramer, Brock (Mandy) Sniff, Luke Sniff and Megan (Cory) Zion. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; Dixon Lawson, Kaiya and Jack Otsuka, and Abby Lawson, step-great-grandchildren; Garrett and Wyatt Berrington, Coy Zion, and Hannah and Connor Sniff as well as numerous other family and a host of friends.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the LCC Horse Training and Management Scholarship Fund either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
