Raymond A. Maestas…July 13, 1970 – November 6, 2011

            A Mass of Christian Burial for Pueblo, CO. resident and former Lamar resident Raymond A. Maestas will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday November 11, 2011 at St. Francis de Sales/ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar, CO. Father Charles Sena will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, CO.

            A Rosary/Scripture Service for Raymond will be led by Deacon Henry Wertin at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday November 10, 2011 also at St. Francis de Sales/ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

            Visitation for Mr. Maestas will be held from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 P.M. on Thursday November 10, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar and prior to the Rosary and Funeral Mass at the church.

            Raymond was born on July 13, 1970 in Pueblo, CO. and departed this life on Sunday November 6, 2011 at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, CO. at the age of 41.

            Mr. Maestas was preceded in death by his natural maternal grandparents Eppifano and Celina

 Gallegos; and by his father-in-law  Manuel Gonzales of Lamar, CO. on December 7, 2007.

            Raymond is survived by his wife Augusta Pacheco of Pueblo, CO.; by three children Shady (Miguel Corral) Pacheco, Manuel Maestas, and Antonia Maestas, all of Pueblo, CO.; by his parents Daniel and Bernice Martinez of Pueblo, CO.; by nine brothers and sisters Juanita Martinez of Denver, Jacqueline Angel of Pueblo, CO., Chris Martinez of Denver, CO., and Justin, Martin, Liticea,  Eloy, Gabino, and Mia Martinez, all of Pueblo, CO.; Also surviving are his maternal grandparents Pete and Tita Gonzales of Monte Vista, CO. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
