Lou Darren Anderson…September 3, 1931 – September 11, 2011

 A Celebration of Life for longtime Kiowa County resident, Darrel Anderson will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Towner Methodist Church with Reverend Larry Barbary officiating. Interment will follow at the Towner Cemetery.
 The casket will be open prior to the service at the church beginning at 9:00 AM. 

 
 Mr. Anderson was born on September 3, 1931 to L. Deward and Cletah Muriel (Tilford) Anderson and passed away at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas at the age of 80 on September 11, 2011.

 Darrel is preceded in death by his wife Doris L. Anderson on August 17, 2006, parents and his brother Gary Anderson.
 He is survived by his children and their spouses; Lou Donovan (Susan) Anderson of  Monument, CO, Deborah Lynne (Rod) Meltabarger of Cassville, MO, Douglas Kent (Jayne) Anderson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Lori DeAnn (Rick) Appelhans of Sharon Springs, KS and David Layne (Julie) Anderson of Broken Arrow, OK. Darrel is also survived by his sisters-in-law Shirley Anderson of Denton, TX and Rebecca Sloan of Florence, CO as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
 Memorial Contributions may be made to the Greeley County Long Term Care Resident Council either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
 Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
