Nellie M. Harms – March 3, 1925 – July 13, 2011


 
            A Service of Victory for longtime Cheyenne Wells, Colorado resident, Nellie M. Harms will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10:00AM at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cheyenne Wells with Martin Davis officiating. Interment will follow services at Fairview Cemetery in Cheyenne Wells.
 
            Visitation for Nellie will be held prior to the services on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Grace Lutheran Church.
 
            Nellie was born on March 3, 1925 in Kiowa County, Colorado to Silas G. and Amy Jane (Neal) Ashley and passed away on July 13, 2011 at the Cheyenne Manor in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado at the age of 86.
 
            She is preceded in death by her husband; Melvin Harms on October 15, 2003, her parents, son; Jeffrey Lynn Harms, sister; Eloise Ashley and brother; Tom Ashley.
 
            Nellie is survived by her sons; Mark (Diane) Harms and Nick (Theresa) Harms all of Cheyenne Wells, grandchildren; Nathan (Nichole) Harms, Jill Harms, Samantha (Owen) Ballou, Alex Harms, Michael Harms and Robin (Austin) Talbert and six great-grandchildren; Matthew, Cody, Ben, Kate, Heidi and Kamryn. She is also survived by her sisters; Sharon (Marvin) Proctor and Glenda Cingoranelli both of Tacoma, Washington, Arlene Rehm of Cheyenne Wells, sister-in-laws; Carolyn (Cleve) Ellison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Betty Ashley of Pueblo as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
 
            Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheyenne Wells Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
 
            Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
