Local Scholarships Selected by Lamar Alumni

Lamar Union High School / Lamar High School Alumni Association announces four scholarship recipients chosen by the association from the 2011 graduation classes.
Adam Parker – Lamar High School – Attending CSU Pueblo this fall to follow a business career.
Ashley Lawrence – Lamar High School – College bound in Colorado to become a forensic scientist.
Sydney Curley – McClave High School – Attending CSU Pueblo this fall and plans on a career in pharmacy.
Ian Wright – North Star High School, Lincoln, NE – Ian will study music education with plans of teaching at the college level.
The names of these students are engraved on a plaque displayed in the commons area at Lamar High School. The LUHS / LHS Alumni Association awards scholarships yearly from donations to the scholarship fund by alumni and memorials donated in honor of deceased classmates.
